Oyishi Sushi: Fresh, Authentic Japanese Sushi and Omakase in Chino, CA

What a great sushi place! Atmosphere was amazing and the service was great! The sushi was so fresh, like top tier sushi restaurant fresh. So light and flavorful. I would absolutely recommend! And the chef was wonderful. Super friendly and attentive. We ordered the Dragon Roll and Philadelphia Roll.

The sashimi is very high quality and super fresh. Chef is very nice, and gave us good recommendations. The price is affordable. We will definitely come back.

As a sushi lover I have been constantly looking for new sushi restaurants but this is one of the best places I have been too! WOW! Incredibly fresh sushi in chino! Oyishi just opened and the quality is unbeatable. We were greeted with steaming hot edamame and tempura when we sat down. The A5 wagyu appetizer was a highlight! However, they really shine in the sushi department. But if you don’t like raw food, there’s a cooked menu as well with chicken teriyaki! We got the sashimi platter B and the omakase set. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chef told us that he recently transitioned his business from catering only to a brick and mortar restaurant. They’re in their soft open at the moment! Excited to come back again and again!

Sushi is my top favorite food and if you want true Japanese style sushi made with high quality fish by experienced sushi chef this is the place to go. This is a hidden gem and you can always find something new or special from the chef that you can’t normally get. The $55 omakase is always an excellent choice. I have grown to trust the chef recommendation base on my taste and he always come thru with that task. I have tried quite a few items that was new to me along with fish prepared at a higher flavor level. Highly recommend if your looking for quality over your AYCE rolls places.

The sushi was not only fresh but delicious! The service is great! Jeff and his wife are very attentive and welcoming. Long story short, if you're looking for straight up actual sushi and not just California rolls, come here! There's no pictures on the menu because the presentation speaks for itself. Beautifully plated. The delicious sushi in front of you will be the pictures! The 5 star ratings you see are true. Don't skip on this sushi spot.

Oyishi Sushi is a hidden gem tucked into a business center in Chino. If you are looking for an unforgettable omakase experience, Chef Jeff will take care of you. Took a couple of friends out for their birthdays, and it was a great dinner with utmost hospitality and a chill environment. Thank you Jeff, we will see you again soon!

I stopped by Oyishi last weekend and was blown away. The salmon nigiri and spicy tuna rolls were my favorites and they were incredibly fresh. Everything in the menu we tried was melt in your mouth good The staff were so welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The vibe inside was cozy but modern, perfect for a relaxed dinner. I will definitely be back
